Cycling is one of the fastest and most popular growing sports in the world and second most popular recreational activity in America. It’s no surprise that a group of Denver-area professionals have taken their favorite past time to a new dimension. Honest Effort Racing Organization, a Colorado-based cycling team, is proud to announce the Subaru Spring Cycling Classic.
The race will be held Sunday, April 19th in Golden, Colorado, off of Colfax and I-70 on Corporate Drive. The course is approximately one kilometer, registration starts at 7:00 a.m., with nine categories, the last ending at 7:00 p.m. Festivities will include prize giveaways, vendors, food and more.
The newly formed non-profit started their first season in March 2009 with Vista Auto Group and Subaru joining forces as title sponsor. The 2009 season will include participation in races throughout Colorado and the region as well as multiple charity events in and around the Denver-metro area. Some of their other sponsors will include Power Bar, Jittery Joe’s coffee, Bicycle Pedal’r and Ibis.

Our mission is to work as hard in our community as we do within the team.” said operations manager/team member, Seth Rubin. “We’re excited to have Vista Auto Group and Subaru as our title sponsor because the companies reflect both generosity in the community and the healthy, active lifestyle that HERO exemplifies in their racing.
