The foothills Art Center proudly presents 24 North American sculpture exhibition installation. Juried Exhibition featuring sculptors from all over the US and Canada, the North American sculpture includes 21 exceptional sculptures of artists, 15. Artwork vary considerably in scope, elaborate pieces from a variety of media, including carved wood, iron, steel, glass, fiber and found objects, as well as other conceptual installation media.
This year's North American sculpture will present an eclectic light, for example, David Van Ness ' the golden calf, the American Idol. This massive sculpture, composed of media, is an American interpretation of historical biblical verse. Other standouts include the three impressive works by the sculptor Canadian Joe Ventura. This group of larger than life size figures shows the realistic human form, she posed in a military costume with animal headdress costume, representing the authority and the Government. This varied and nicely decorated exhibition was juried by leading artists of Colorado Lawrence Argent and John McEnroe and FAC, curator Michael Chavez. Foothills Art Center opens its vault to reveal his collection of "hidden treasures."
