We Sell Jewellery relaunches We Make Jewellery



After just one year in business, We Sell Jewellery has quickly become a favourite brand for many fashion jewellery buyers in the UK, US and India. Working through dozens of domain names on top of a busy presence on Amazon and Ebay, We Sell Jewellery is best known for their ‘gold by the inch’. A common way to purchase necklaces, bracelets, anklets and belly chains in the middle east, selling gold chains by the inch in the UK was a novel approach when We Sell Jewellery first started in January 2012.

Boyd Carson, founder of We Sell Jewellery: “Originally we had a pop-up shop in Belfast inside one of the big shopping centres and people kept telling us how great it was to be able to choose exactly the length you want. We quickly developed a basic website and started selling on Amazon and things soon took off. Our website had been selling quite well for a year when we asked a local consultant, Mike Thompson, to do some social media marketing and SEO work for us. Sales started to improve but we realized we needed someone full time so in April of this year we asked Mike to join us and really take the brand forward.”


Following Mike’s appointment in April he started by redeveloping our sister site, www.WeMakeJewellery.com  and in just two weeks built a truly scalable product. He has also taken on running our five social media channels, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Google+.
With the new platform in place Mike is now working on the search engine optimization but the phrase “we make jewellery” is already ranking number one on Google in the UK so We Make Jewellery is looking forward to even further gains in traffic and sales.
